Shivani Amin, MD began her career at Hoboken University Medical Center in Hoboken, NJ. Following a general family practice in Frederick, Maryland, she began to specialize in pain management. With the advent of the legalization of medical cannabis in Maryland, Dr. Amin has quickly become one on the state’s leading authorities on the responsible use and certification of marijuana for its medicinal benefits. As a registered cannabis physician in the state of Maryland, Dr. Amin has made it her goal to help educate the public on the state’s medical marijuana program, the role of the Maryland Marijuana Commission and is dedicated to the compassionate and responsible use of medicinal marijuana as an option for treatment. She is a member of the Maryland Cannabis Task force and the founder and CEO of Green Health Docs.
Eryck Stamper is a resident of Maryland who grew up in the Fells Point and Little Italy area and currently resides in Baltimore County. He is a retired Senior Chief Petty Officer from the United States Navy after 23 years of honorable and faithful service. He currently is Director of Veteran Initiatives for Maryland NORML and is an advocate of cannabis as a Patient and Caregiver. He’s very active in federal, state and local non-profit Veteran organizations as well as Maryland’s expanding cannabis industry and engaged with the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission.
We have a US Army Officer joining our panel representing the Veteran community. While serving he was a company commander during OIF (2001-2004). He was awarded the bronze star medal for his leadership during combat support/disaster recovery operations. During his command, he witnessed high rates of PTSD among his forward deployed soldiers. This led to a partnership with psychologists from Walter Reed Medical to improve post-deployment mental health support and screenings. As a Veteran, he continues to advocate for Veteran rights and works with non-profit organizations that help Veterans fight PTSD.
Adam is a business development executive with 20 years of experience in the alternative health and regenerative medicine industries. He is passionate about helping others live happier, healthier, more active lives through natural solutions. After growing up in Rockville, MD, Adam attended Towson University where he studied philosophy and then finished his undergraduate degree in business at the University of Maryland. He has continued his education at American University, George Washington University and the University of Pennsylvania. Adam has owned vitamin supplement businesses and consulted with a number of renowned regenerative medicine doctors, wellness clinics and alternative health publishers. He also leads meditation and mindfulness groups and runs the non profit Dharma Project.
